ALTEN works together with an independent knowledge institute for applied research in the field of water and subsurface. This institute develops smart solutions, innovations, and applications in the areas of flood, delta planning, infrastructure, water and subsurface resources, and environment over the world.
To keep track of all projects and (tender) offers, all their data is stored in an internal system, built as a web-based application. The original application was used successfully for a long period but had become obsolete leading to many potential security risks. Therefore, with a hard deadline, a completely new application with all existing functionalities had to be developed to replace the existing one.
