Joins us at the Data Expo

We are thrilled to share more about our work expertise in Data & AI and our client experiences. That is why ALTEN Nederland will be exhibiting at the Data Expo on September 11th and 12th at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The Data Expo addresses every aspect of data management, bringing together experts to discuss how to maximize data value. We will present our insights during a speech and have one of our partners with us to tell you more about our projects at our stand.

Helping us enhance our expertise in the field of Data & AI, is SDG, an ALTEN company. Their proficiency in data management, data engineering, data integration, and data governance complements our Data & Analytics practice, delivering comprehensive data solutions.

IoT solution for Skytree

Also joining us at the Data Expo will be Skytree, a leader in carbon solutions and a valued ALTEN client. Earlier this year, we collaborated on developing and building the complete IoT solution for Skytree’s Direct Air Capture (DAC) system. 

CO2 is often viewed as a harmful byproduct of fossil fuel usage in our cars, factories, and planes. However, CO2 can be a valuable resource for many industries such as agriculture. Skytree found that the challenge lies in capturing CO2 in an environmentally friendly way.  Together with the help of ALTEN, Skytree has developed a DAC system that efficiently absorbs, desorbs, and releases CO2 when needed and can be installed right next to the place where the CO2 is needed. This innovative technology offers a sustainable solution for repurposing atmospheric CO2, overcoming significant technological challenges.  

ALTEN provided the complete IoT solution for the DAC system, enabling the transmission production and system data, and allowing remote control and maintenance of these advanced devices. With Skytree’s DAC system and the power of IoT, we are not just capturing CO2; we’re transforming it into a resource for a greener, more sustainable future.
